Frame and Fork only 

Finishes: Epoxy gloss Black, White or translucent Candy Apple Red, Blue ‚Äč The picture has the original epoxy resin Black finish which would have had all white Decals.

Lifecycle: 1977 (September to December)

Serial number location: underside of bottom bracket starting with three letters, then three digits 

First digit = W

Second digit = Month (I=Sept, J=Oct, K=Nov....)

Third digit = G (1977)

Decals: White on clear applied to Seat post and Forks up to October 1977, then foil snake added (coloured) to Downtube and Headstock

Rear dropout: approx 1/16" (1.6mm)

Top tube length: approx 18.5"

  • Frame: Nickel plated Chromoly front triangle, hi-tensile steel rear section (Fabrications by Jere)
  • Forks: Nickel plated Chromoly fork arms, thick mild steel steerer (Fabrications by Jere)
  • Bottom Bracket type : Euro

Decals: foil snake (coloured) applied to downtube, headstock and forks only   

Rear dropout: approx 1/16" (1.6mm) 

Top tube length: approx 18.5" 

This frameset was the successor to the 1st gen with the updated (more popular) US bottom bracket and sometimes referred to as the original Pro.

  • Forks: Nickel plated Chromoly fork arms, thick mild steel steerer
